Primer Día de Trabajo/First Day of Work

Hoy fue mi primer día de trabajo en el Instituto Cristiano Bilingue Sunshine; fue una jornada muy buena y productiva.  Tuvimos un desayuno un tanto dietético.  Luego tuvimos un momento de adoración al Señor en el cual Él nos preparó para el plato fuerte de la mañana.  Compartió con nosotros la Dra. Emma Amelia de Sosa, (Nuestra asesora espiritual y fundadora de la escuela y de MUNA Internacional)  una palabra muy oportuna y de ánimo.  Dentro de lo que  nos compartió puedo resumir algunos puntos:

• Somos un equipo que trabaja en una misma dirección. Como tal, debemos trabajar todos como uno sólo encaminados hacia el propósito, visión y misión de nuestra escuela.  Si una de las partes de este engranaje no funciona bien, todo el sistema es afectado.  
• Los cambios son retos que El Señor nos pone para formarnos. Como tales debemos tomarlos no con temor sino con la confianza que Dios nos está promoviendo.  
• Nuestra actitud hacia este nuevo año escolar es muy importante.  Si nuestra actitud al comenzar este año escolar es negativa, de desánimo, probablemente así sea nuestro año escolar.  Por lo tanto, tomemos ánimos en El Señor para que este sea un año lleno de bendiciones y satisfacciones. ¡Actitud positiva!
• Debemos ser renovados como las águilas.  Tomar nuevas fuerzas en El Señor, en especial si durante las vacaciones estuvimos en actividades que nos hicieron fatigarnos.  
• El Señor nos dice en Mateo 11: 28: "Venid a mí todos los que estáis trabajados y cargados, y yo os haré descansar."  El Señor nos ofrece descanso si nuestro espíritu ha estado cansado.  

Confío en que este año escolar será uno muy victorioso.  Renuevo mis fuerzas como las del águila y preparo mi corazón para los retos que vienen.

Le animo a que tome fuerzas también y permita que Él le guíe durante el curso de este año escolar.

DE DIOS ES LA GLORIA

Today I had my first day of work at Sunshine Christian Bilingual School;  it was a rather good and productive day.  We had a sort of diet breakfast.  After that, we had a time of worship to the Lord in which He prepared us for the main dish.  Emma Amelia de Sosa, Ph.D. (Our spiritual adviser, founder of our school and of MUNA International) shared with us an encouraging and timely word.  Within what she shared I can summarize some points:

• We are a team walking towards the same direction.  As such, we should all work as one towards the purpose, vision, and mission of the school.  If one piece of the gear does not work properly, then the clock stops working altogether.
• Changes are God-given challenges to form us.  We must take them as such, not with fear but with trust in The Lord that He is promoting us.
• Our attitude towards this new school year is very important.  If our attitude at the start of this new school year is negative, so will the rest of our school year be.  Therefore, let´s gain strength in the Lord and make this a year full of blessings and satisfactions.  Positive attitude!
• We must be renewed like the eagle.  Let´s take new strength in The Lord, especially if we grew weary during vacations due to excess work.
• The Lord say in Matthew 11:28:  "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."  He offers us rest if our spirit has been burdened.

I trust this is going to be victorious year.  I renew my strength like the eagle and get ready my heart for challenges to come.

I encourage you to take in these strengths as well, and let Him guide you throughout this school year.
